Mystery Photo Number 2 from N/L No 11 revealed: -
Constant Quicksilver and Janette Keeley
Hi mystery photo number 2 is me, Janette Keeley (again different horse)
This time I am riding Constant Quicksilver so named as she was born on the day of Quicksilver. Her mum is a red leopard called Centaur Eve and her dad is Mighty Strawman GB. The son of Margaret Kemp's mare Eve is also the mum of champions Constant Tom Tom and White Magic.
We were disappointed when Dollar was born as she was brown and to this day Tim still calls her the little brown job. However to those of you who have met her she is very colourful at heart and is always second-guessing us. She is one of our best competition horses when she wants to be. I have to thank Tom Tom for getting rain scald, as because of this Tim had nothing to do in the winter so he started Dollar. She became my horse very quickly as she has a stubborn streak too, like Tim's. (Enough said!!). He did all the hard work and I am now reaping the rewards when she fancies. She and I gained the UK Western Hi Point award in Novice last year and are now thrown into the Open deep end. Last year in the Heritage class Mr Robert Oliver said 'what a quiet little horse', little does he know. Thanks again for spotting us. I hope you like our story.
