Mystery Photo Number 4 from N/L No 16 revealed: -
Klaudy and Marie South
This photo shows Klaudy doing his first trail class at the 2003 ApHC show at Moreton Morrell. It was also the first time he had worn western tack! Since then he has extended his western skills by attending a WES 3 day Clinic this Spring, which he found very exciting. He also attended the ApHC show this year and competed in the his second trail competition.
He is home breed, by Klaus out of a near leopard spot mare Della of Weststreet. We bred 3 foals from Della who was an excellent all rounder who always tried her best. Unfortunately Klaudy's full brother, Kelson, a bay 16 hand ride and drive, was killed by lightning a couple of years ago. Kelson is proving hard to replace.
Klaudy competes in riding club dressage and has also tried a few Trec competitions recently. Unfortunately, he is handicapped by his rider's inability to read maps and is learning to be patient with getting lost!

Thank you Marie for writing in and telling us about your lovely Appaloosa, Klaudy. It was good to see you doing so well in the dressage at the 2004 national show.
