Sky Cloud and Marilyn Readman

How nice it was to see my three year old gelding Sky Cloud and myself in the winter newsletter.

This is our story:-

We set off from Durham on a Friday and after two nights sleeping in the wagon, by Sunday I was a bit stiff to say the least but what a great weekend we had.  This was the furthest we had ever travelled usually only doing local shows, as we have just started showing successfully for Sky's second season, we thought it would do him good getting him out and about.

We learnt a great deal by taking part in your show and would recommend it to all members to have a go.  It was great fun and everyone was willing to help you if you needed it.  Since showing last summer we have backed and ridden Sky away, with great success, like the typical Appaloosa horse he is, he took it all in his stride, a true gentleman.

Sky being just a young horse and me not being as young as I used to be, I am hoping to sell him to the right person who can take him further, as I think he will have great potential as an eventer.

Hope to see you all again at the 2003 show.
