One of the most entertaining classes of the Gala Evening at the national show this year was the freestyle to music class.  The gala event is a fun evening that everyone looks forward to and with the serious showing out of the way it is a time to relax and enjoy the efforts of all the competitors.  This year was no exception and the competitors must be congratulated for their imaginative performances.  The results of the class are as follows:-

1 st Jungle Book - Tuscany Appolo/Stephanie Woollon

2 nd Queen - Corae Kris/Harriet Gowing

3 rd Rawhide Constant Tom - Tom/Tim & Janette Keeley

4 th Cruelle de Ville - Tuscany Talos/Nicola Sands

5 th Perfect (pairs) - Tiptoe Bucks Fancy/Lee Jose & BJs Palooka/Audrey Bishop

6 th untitled - Private B Riker/L Talintyre

Sheena Atkinson Parfitt ran the evening with the help of other ApHC UK directors and organised a panel of judges from members of the audience to judge technical merit, artistic impression and use of music.  Tuscany Appolo and Stephanie Woollon won the class with an imaginative use of music in their version of Jungle Book but it was a very close run thing with Corae Kris and Harriet Gowing only one point behind with their interpretation of Queen.  We also had our first pairs display from Lee Jose and Audrey Bishop with their amazing outfits and wonderful display to Perfect.
